Garrus: Could've sworn he was muttering "T'Soni" the whole time.

Liara: Not funny.

The extended cut for ME3 does indeed make the ending a lot more palatable. It's not perfect, but it's much more satisfying.

That is all.

So, pretty much everyone on the internet has agreed that the ending for ME3 sucks. I haven't seen it yet, but the details I've heard make me agree with them. So what does lead designer Casey Hudson say in response?

"I didn’t want the game to be forgettable, and even right down to the sort of polarizing reaction that the ends have had with people–debating what the endings mean and what’s going to happen next, and what situation are the characters left in. That to me is part of what’s exciting about this story. There has always been a little bit of mystery there and a little bit of interpretation, and it’s a story that people can talk about after the fact."

In other words, I paid money to EA and Bioware so they could troll me in video game form.

Brilliant.

If your Shepard is in an established relationship with Liara, when you meet Wrex on the Normandy for the first time, he'll say "Wish I had a room with windows, like Liara's, but apparently I'm not a good enough kisser."

Shepard, naturally, says "No comment."
