This will be a series of spoiler free thoughts on story mode. If you're looking for gameplay mechanic stuff, look elsewhere.
- Story mode exists mainly to tie together the plots of 3 and 4, and set up Persona 5. If you're at all interested in that, and want a fun fighting game as well, Arena is worth the pick up.
- Yes, Yu has a personality in this game. He is characterized as someone who is calm and decisive, and a person who values the people he cares about.
- Aside from Mitsuru, Akihiko, Aigis, and Elizabeth, only one other P3 character makes an appearence. I'll leave you to find out who that is on your own.
- Speaking of which, the P3 characters are hilarious in this one, especially Aigis. From briefly imitating Elizabeth's quirky speaking style, to making cracks about Mitsuru and Akihiko's outfits (she even refers humorously to Mit's underwear), she really shines here.
- Labrys's story is really heartbreaking and well done. There's only one fight, but you won't really care.
- Elizabeth is as insane as ever, making her scenario a joy to play. The ending is really heartwarming, however.
