Hoorah FFXIII-2 demo.
- The "leader dies = game over" mechanic is gone. If the leader dies, you switch to the other character. You can also change the leader in battle whenever you want.
- Paradigm setups can now be saved into three seperate decks.
- The Crystarium has undergone some changes. Aside from the ability nodes, they aren't labeled anymore, as such nodes upgrade several stats at once, said stats depending on what role you're leveling.
- Speaking of which, every time you complete a section, you can pick something to upgrade, such as a new ATB bar, or you can unlock a new role.
- Buyable weapons are back, it seems.
- Important battles have something called Cinematic Actions, where you follow on screen prompts to achieve battle bonuses. One in the demo lets Noel instantly fill the stagger gauge.
